LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE! CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022: SF-PHI & CIN-KC. HEAVYWEIGHT BATTLES ON TAP

I always loved a great boxing match growing up. Mike Tyson’s fights were usually executions for his opponent. Until he met up with Buster Douglas. Leonard-Hearns was a classic. Hearns-Hagler, I still rewatch it sometimes for the sheer action in three rounds. Ali-Frazier III, I was too young to see it live, but thankfully YouTube has preserved the sheer brutality of as amazing a slugfest as there has ever been. And there’s the Rocky movies. Gotta love a great boxing match for cinema.

DFS FIESTA: DIVISIONAL ROUND, AKA MOST CALIENTE WEEKEND OF NFL FOOTBALL

What would you say if I gave you a weekend where every game was a thriller? Where there was a combination of shootouts and hard-knuckle backyard brawls that left both teams spent and slumped on their stools. That was the Divisional Round in 2021.

SUPER WILD CARD WEEKEND, FANTASY AND BETTING TIPS, SUPER BOWL PREDICTION & SUNDAY, MONDAY, HAPPY DAYS! PART 2

One of the things that is hard to quantify when predicting what’s going to happen in an NFL game from a fantasy and betting perspective is the human factor. These players are paid handsomely, and the best of the best know what their demeanor needs to be any given Sunday. But there are times that these men are met with situations that call for something greater that comes from inside. And a new level may be reached from that.

SUPER WILD CARD WEEKEND, FANTASY AND BETTING TIPS, SATURDAY NIGHT’S ALRIGHT

Familia, I know it’s cold in most of the country. We’ve even gotten way over the regular allotment of rain that we’re used to here in California. But now that we’re in the playoffs, it’s a great time to break out the indoor grill and get some carne asada sizzling and into some tacos so you can enjoy the games.

AYA WEEK 17, CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK-WINNING DECISIONS, PART 2

You hear about it all the time. Teams sneak into the playoffs as the sixth seed, get hot at the right time and win three games to get a title. I did that last year and because of injuries I fielded a team with Taysom Hill at QB and Jaret Patterson as my RB2, and they both balled out to win me a ‘ship.

AYA WEEK 17, CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK WINNERS, PART 1

Every decision counts this week. You’ve heard the stories of the razor-thin margins that teams have won and lost championships past. I once lost a title to a tie-breaker. And won a title by two points. Another time I was up against prime Emmitt Smith, who looked like he was on his way to a big game when he suffered a minor injury in the first half of his Monday Night football game. I coasted to a title when he was ruled out at halftime.

AYA WEEK 16 PT 1, SEMI-TOUGH PLAYOFF DECISIONS & RIP FRANCO

It’s the other Final Four time, Familia. Not the one in early April, but the fantasy football semi-finals. You’re here, and the decisions are a little different. It’s time to be more cut and dried, maybe even cold blooded.

LOS PEEKUPS WEEK 16, TIME TO MAKE SEMI TOUGH MOVES

You’re in the final four of your fantasy playoffs. You could be the top seed coming off a bye week, where you largely left your roster alone until you saw that Jalen Hurts could be missing this week’s game with a shoulder injury. Or maybe you’re a #6 seed that snuck into the playoffs and rode Zay Jones and Jerick McKinnon to a resounding victory over the #3 seed. You’re here, and there is more work to be done.

AYA WEEK 15, PART 2, FROZEN TUNDRA AND CALIENTE PICKS

Here’s Part 2. I planned on breaking this up into a couple articles, but life took over, so you’re getting the whole enchilada at once. I really tried hard to be even more discerning on who’s ADENTRO and who’s AFUERA because I know these roster decisions are really crucial this week.
