THE CASE FOR CHASE: JA’MARR CHASE, 1.01 2023 FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT STRATEGY

Is Ja’Marr Chase the 1.01 for fantasy football in 2023? While acknowledging Justin Jefferson, Christian McCaffrey, even Travis Kelce or Tyreek Hill as absolute NFL studs, here is the case for Chase.

2023 FANTASY FOOTBALL STRATEGY: HERMANOS GOFF-COUSINS ALTERNATIVE QB STRATEGY

I know you’ve already heard from me how I’m recommending the Elite QB draft strategy for the 2023 fantasy football season . It looks like people are listening, because the top eight QBs are off the board by the 2nd pick of the 6th round in Underdog Fantasy drafts. OK, maybe a few people have been squawking about it beyond me.

2023 TOP PROSPECTS: NATIONAL LEAGUE

I’ve always loved prospects. The way you can dream on a player becoming the next Willie Mays or Fernando Valenzuela, it’s always so tantalizing to see these young players get their feet under them and either struggle or get hot in their first days in the Show. There’s a certain purity about these players, and I’ve called them unspoiled fruit many times.

2022 LESSONS LEARNED FOR 2023 FANTASY SUCCESS

Last year up cropped the Twitter handle Fantasy Receipts, to remind us fantasy football analysts about our takes that went awry. As if we don’t already beat ourselves up enough when we’re wrong. I looked at a My Guys article that I wrote in August, where in January I wanted to point at myself and laugh on a couple of predictions.

SUPER BOWL LVII: CHIEFS-EAGLES, HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT WITH PLENTY CHEESY STORYLINES

It’s here. Chiefs-Eagles. The obscure information that has been coming through is bordering on mind-boggling. Tails has lost the coin flip three years in a row. The white jerseys have won the Super Bowl 15 of the past 18 games. Oh yeah, there are so many ways to bet the game that it’s beyond comprehension.

LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE! CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022: SF-PHI & CIN-KC. HEAVYWEIGHT BATTLES ON TAP

I always loved a great boxing match growing up. Mike Tyson’s fights were usually executions for his opponent. Until he met up with Buster Douglas. Leonard-Hearns was a classic. Hearns-Hagler, I still rewatch it sometimes for the sheer action in three rounds. Ali-Frazier III, I was too young to see it live, but thankfully YouTube has preserved the sheer brutality of as amazing a slugfest as there has ever been. And there’s the Rocky movies. Gotta love a great boxing match for cinema.

DFS FIESTA: DIVISIONAL ROUND, AKA MOST CALIENTE WEEKEND OF NFL FOOTBALL

What would you say if I gave you a weekend where every game was a thriller? Where there was a combination of shootouts and hard-knuckle backyard brawls that left both teams spent and slumped on their stools. That was the Divisional Round in 2021.

SUPER WILD CARD WEEKEND, FANTASY AND BETTING TIPS, SUPER BOWL PREDICTION & SUNDAY, MONDAY, HAPPY DAYS! PART 2

One of the things that is hard to quantify when predicting what’s going to happen in an NFL game from a fantasy and betting perspective is the human factor. These players are paid handsomely, and the best of the best know what their demeanor needs to be any given Sunday. But there are times that these men are met with situations that call for something greater that comes from inside. And a new level may be reached from that.

SUPER WILD CARD WEEKEND, FANTASY AND BETTING TIPS, SATURDAY NIGHT’S ALRIGHT

Familia, I know it’s cold in most of the country. We’ve even gotten way over the regular allotment of rain that we’re used to here in California. But now that we’re in the playoffs, it’s a great time to break out the indoor grill and get some carne asada sizzling and into some tacos so you can enjoy the games.

AYA WEEK 17, CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK-WINNING DECISIONS, PART 2

You hear about it all the time. Teams sneak into the playoffs as the sixth seed, get hot at the right time and win three games to get a title. I did that last year and because of injuries I fielded a team with Taysom Hill at QB and Jaret Patterson as my RB2, and they both balled out to win me a ‘ship.
