WEEK 6 LOCKS

This week we get a column featuring 2 primos giving their best bets for Week 6. Primo Nico Gutierrez went 4-1 last week, and I went 3-2. We’re back with a column breaking down each of our picks for Week 6:

Ryan Fitzpatrick will feast against a Jets’ secondary that is giving up points in droves

HECTOR’S PICKS

DETROIT -3.5 @ JACKSONVILLE
The Lions are coming off a bye week well rested and look to sock it to the Jags this week. If there’s anything you need to know it’s that Fitzmagic and the Dolphins put up 31 on the Jags defense in Week 3. I really like Stafford here to jump all over them in much the same way.

The Lions easily cover the 3.5 points here.

PITTSBURGH -4.0 vs. CLEVELAND
The 4-1 Browns take on the undefeated Steelers in what is set to be a very entertaining game. After what Chase Claypool did last week look for the Steelers offense to continue rolling. Cleveland has looked good so far this year, but I really like Big Ben and company to hit them hard and fast and win by at least a touchdown.

MIAMI -8.5 vs NY JETS
Le’Veon Bell was just waived by the Jets. He’s a Chief now. Yes, one of the NFL’s most talented RBs was just dropped by his team. This confirms what we talked about in the preseason and that is that Adam Gase is just letting this dumpster fire simmer. They say when you hit bottom things can only go up… Well, for the Jets, things will just stay at the bottom, and just linger there for the rest of the season. Look for Fitzmagic to light them up and cover here.

GREEN BAY -2.0 @ TAMPA BAY
If there’s one thing we know about Aaron Rodgers it’s that he is fierce. He will knock you down, kick you while you are down, then smile at you in the process. Yes, there is mutual respect between Rodgers and Brady off the field, but between the lines they each want to knock each other out, and this week Aaron Rodgers will get the knockout and cover. Godwin is nursing a hammy that kept him out of last week’s matchup so let’s see if he’s ready for this game. Take the Pack.

NICO’S PICKS

MINNESOTA – 3.5 vs. ATLANTA
New head coach for the Falcons, but this game is in Minnesota. Look for Cousins to throw early and often to Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson in what should be a fun game. But the Vikings will cover at home.

ARIZONA -2 @ DALLAS
How much has Dallas lost in going from Dak Prescott to Andy Dalton at QB? We’re going to find out, because Kyler Murray will be throwing all day to DeAndre Hopkins against that Dallas secondary.

GREEN BAY -2 @ TAMPA BAY
Rodgers vs. Brady isn’t the rivalry that was Brady vs. Manning, but this one will be plenty entertaining. Primo Hector and I agree that Rodgers will make just enough plays to come out on top by at least a FG.

KANSAS CITY -4 @ BUFFALO
Do you think Patrick Mahomes will be extra motivated coming off the first loss in almost a calendar year? Add to it that Buffalo is hurting in the secondary, and it’s set up for the Chiefs to score a ton of points.

WASHINGTON @ NY GIANTS OVER 43
Look for some points to be scored in this one. The Giants need to show they can pass on Washington, and the Football Team will try to run all over the New Yorkers.
